👏 What an experience to have had the opportunity to collaborate with an extraordinary group of humans beings and participate and Support as much as possible the International One Health Conference.
🧬The gathering addressed crucial issues, emphasizing the transition from scientific research to policy formation and, ultimately, to effective implementation.
🥼The conference was hosted over two days at Col·legi Oficial de Metges de Barcelona , which has recently established a dedicated unit for Climate Change, led by Carla Oliva Morell and Enric Prats.
🌎We were privileged to have World Health Organization with Amina Benyahia highlighting the more and more significance and interdisciplinary efforts of this blended field.
🌊The Union for the Mediterranean not only supported us as a partner and sponsor but also hosted invaluable inaugural conferences at their headquarters in Palau Pedralbes.
🧬🥼 Both the Spanish and Italian Environmental Medical Societies made their esteemed presence felt.
🏡Furthermore, Irene Corbella Cordomí from the Agency of Public Health of Catalonia offered an insightful presentation on the tangible implementation of health policies.
🏥The Barcelona Children’s Hospital Sant Joan de Déu presented its new Pediatric Environmental unit.
